Lord of the Rings: Conquest PC specs

And you won’t need the power of the one ring to run it

Written by: Nathan Lawrence | 1/6/2009 11:06:31 AM

So those lucky next-gen console owners are already battling in the Lord of the Rings: Conquest multiplayer demo, but PC owners are wondering whether the game is worthy of forking over their hard-earned treasure for. Now while the powers that be haven’t been so kind as to release a PC demo of the upcoming Battlefield-inspired title, developer Pandemic have seen fit to release the required specs so you can see if your rig has what it takes to play the game.

According to this post over at the Pandemic forums, the recommended PC specs are as follows:

System Requirements

Lord of Lord of The Rings: Conquest™ requires at least the following:

For Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
* 2.4 GHz Core Duo processor or equivalent
* 1 GB RAM
* A 256 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 3.0 - NVIDIA 7800 or equivalent
* The latest version of DirectX 9.0c
* A DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
* At least 6 GB of hard drive space for installation.

Lord of the Rings: Conquest PC requirements certainly aren’t as greedy as some other games that have been released in more recent times, which should allow a wider range of keyboard/mouse gamers to enjoy the latest romp in Middle Earth. The game is set for a multiplatform release on the 15th of January.

So basically if you can run the latest battlefield you can prob run this by the looks of it.
I havnt seen like any videos about this game. This and the article you did the other day Nathan are all iv heard of this game. (thanks for the reply on the other article).
Won't be getting it straight away but not so far down the track this will be a must purchase provided initial responses are positive and it gets a good meta score. Upgrade system with the source material will be interesting given this style of game only works if the balancing is nothing less than perfect. Look forward to a review.

It's allready been deemed unbalanced by Joah , still might be worth a look though . Sytem requirements are pretty easily met and from what i have played of the 360 demo it looks like alot of fun .
