How much is Black Ops 7 in Australia?

Steam AU lists Standard at A$109.95 as of 13 October 2026. Xbox AU has listed Vault Edition from A$149.95. EB Games and JB Hi-Fi move independently — read the live sticker.

Vault is the cosmetics-and-battle-pass bundle: BlackCell for one season, Guild Override camo, operator and Mastercraft collections, an Ultra GobbleGum pack, and a Permanent Unlock Token. It is not a different campaign.

Is Black Ops 7 on Game Pass in Australia?

Xbox’s Australian product page has pitched Black Ops 7 as playable with Game Pass. Confirm the live tier on xbox.com/en-AU — Activision catalogue rules get rewritten.

Does GamePlayer have a Black Ops 7 review?

No. This is a launch and buyer guide. A scored review waits for a GamePlayer playthrough. Nobody here is pretending they have one.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Australia: Launch Date, Price, Vault Edition, Game Pass

Black Ops 7 is already out. If you are still typing the launch date, you want the Australian till: platforms, Vault versus Standard, and whether Game Pass is the cheaper door.

Australians still search “Call of Duty Black Ops 7” eleven months after launch because the annual taught a generation to type the name until a storefront answered. The calendar part is finished. Black Ops 7 is out. The useful question in October 2026 is which door you use and how much Activision wants for the extras.

This is a till guide from the news desk. It is not a review, not a loadout bible, and not a ranked list of maps. When GamePlayer has played the shipped build, a score will live on the Black Ops 7 hub. Until then, treat any “BO7 review” with a number on it as someone else’s homework — or fiction.

The dates, without the trailer voice

Publisher pages do not all agree on the hour, which is why the search box never cooled down.

Xbox AU lists 14 November 2025 for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Windows.
PlayStation AU listed 13 November 2025 for PS5 and PS4.
Steam AU dates the PC package 21 November 2025.

If you bought on console last November, you already know which night your download finished. If you are on Steam and thought you missed a week, that gap is real. There is no PS3, no 360, and no Switch SKU to argue about.

Official product copy: Treyarch and Raven Software, 2035, David Mason, the city of Avalon, a co-op campaign, 16 six-versus-six maps and two 20v20 maps at launch, Omnimovement, and Round-Based Zombies in the Dark Aether. That is the box. It is not a verdict.

Platforms (including the last-gen ones)

PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. PC via Steam, Battle.net, and Xbox on PC.

Digital Cross-Gen editions on Xbox and PlayStation are the version that plays on both boxes in the same family. Physical is messier, and Activision has been explicit:

Xbox physical is a cross-gen bundle (Series and One).
PS5 physical is PS5 only.
PS4 physical is a cross-gen bundle that includes a PS5 digital code — and the disc still matters if you want to run the PS5 install.

If a Facebook listing promises a single plastic disc that “does every PlayStation,” walk away.

PC has the usual 2025 tax: TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are in Activision’s footnotes. Read Activision’s support note before you assume an older tower will launch.

Standard versus Vault, in Australian dollars

Live prices move. The pattern that has held:

Edition	What you are actually buying	AU ballpark, as listed
Cross-Gen / Standard	The game	A$109.95 on Steam AU as of 13 October 2026; PSN AU has used the same RRP
Vault Edition	Standard plus one season of BlackCell, camo, operators, Mastercraft weapons, Ultra GobbleGums, Permanent Unlock Token	Xbox AU has listed from A$149.95

Vault does not unlock a secret campaign. It front-loads a battle-pass season and cosmetics. If you already subscribe to Game Pass and only wanted to play, Vault is an upsell, not an entry ticket.

Where to look, not where we take a cut:

EB Games and JB Hi-Fi for the cardboard ritual

Game Pass, Plus, and the phone-number footnote

Xbox’s Australian page still headlines Game Pass. That is the cheapest way to try the thing if your household already pays for Ultimate or the PC SKU. It is not a promise that CoD stays in the catalogue forever. Read our Ultimate Australia guide for the ladder, then confirm the live benefit footnote.

PlayStation Plus is the online-play tax on console, not a copy of the game. Activision also wants an Activision account and, in their legal block, a mobile number tied to that account. That is a support article, not a rumour.

Storage: plan for a large install plus mandatory updates. We are not going to invent a gigabyte figure that a Tuesday patch will make wrong.

If you are choosing a shooter instead

Black Ops 7 is the 6v6 / Zombies / prestige loop, and it still talks to last-gen hardware. Battlefield 6 is the 64-player, vehicles, current-gen-only argument. They are not interchangeable, even if the search box treats them as one mood.
