GTA 6 Australia Countdown: 74 Days, a Pre-Load Week, and No Review

We already published the till guide: GTA 6 release date Australia. This is the countdown the desk will keep updating so the search box does not have to invent a new date every Sunday.

Thursday 19 November 2026. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. No PS4, no Xbox One, no honest PC launch SKU. From today, 6 September, that is 74 days.

The only dates that matter

• 19 November 2026 — launch calendar. Australian unlocks are that date; the hour is a storefront argument, not a promise we will fake.
• 12 November 2026 — Take-Two's pre-load week. Digital is the version of that sentence that works.
• Physical is a code in a box. If EB, JB, Amazon, or whoever you used does not put the code in your hand before the 12th, you are not pre-loading. You are waiting on Australia Post and a Facebook complaint.

Standard listings have sat around $129.95 AUD. Deluxe costs more for garnish. Check PlayStation Store AU and the Xbox store on the day you pay. We do not freeze a sticker in MDX.

What this countdown is not

It is not a reason to skip Best PS5 games 2026. It is not a Game Pass or Plus Extra rumour. It is not a PC pre-order you can defend at a BBQ. Another slip is possible in the way every Rockstar slip is possible. It is not the working assumption.
